Sarchione Ford of Waynesburg is helping area customers find their biggest Ford vehicle needs.
Last fall, the Sarchione family purchased the former Wendell Ford located at 300 W. Lisbon Street in Waynesburg.
The family is no stranger to the car business. It started in 1917 when it opened Sarchione and Sons in Alliance. Four dealerships are now involved in the family business.
Joe Sarchione Sr. got his start in the car business many years ago. His son Jefferson "Jeff" Sarchione and daughter Carvella are both involved with the Waynesburg location. Jeff serves as the general manager and new car manger of the dealership. Carvella serves as the finance director.
Both Jeff and Carvella have spent time in the military. Jeff is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and was part of the Marines for five years as an infantry captain. Carvella spent six years as an army sergeant.
Members of the dealership have also remained since the dealership changed owners. Service man Steve Loomis has been involved with the dealership for 42 years.
Sarchione features a staff with people wearing blue jeans rather than sales people with suits and ties. The business also works with different lenders for customers to receive the best possible financing.
Since taking over the dealership, the Sarchione family has expanded the new and used car inventory. A large variety is available for customers to choose from, and the inventory can be found online at sarchioneofwaynesburg.com.
The showroom is also open during business hours from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Hours for the parts and service department are 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
