MOUNT UNION

The following students have been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester at the University of Mount Union. To be eligible for Dean's List, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours of traditionally graded coursework while achieving a grade point average of 3.550 or better with no grade below a B.

YOUNGSTOWN STATE

Youngstown State University's best and brightest students have been named to the Dean's List for Fall Semester 2016.

Dean's List honorees, recognized for academic excellence, include:

Amber Janson of Waynesburg, a Pre Medical Laboratory Sci major.

Sierra Sarver of Waynesburg, a Pre Dental Hygiene major.

Garrett Long of Waynesburg, a Mathematics major.

Youngstown State University's most outstanding students have been named to the YSU President's List. To qualify, students must have earned a 4.0 grade point average in the Fall 2016 semester.

President's List honorees include the following:

Amber Janson of Waynesburg, a Pre Med Laboratory Science major.

Sierra Sarver of Waynesburg, a Pre Dental Hygiene major.

OHIO WESLEYAN

Ohio Wesleyan University is pleased to announce its 2016 fall semester Dean's List. To qualify for OWU Dean's List recognition, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale in all applicable classes.

Local students earning Dean's List recognition include:

Lauren Sedal of Waynesburg.

BLUFFTON

Bluffton University has announced its dean's list for the fall term. Students with a GPA of 3.6 or higher are eligible for the dean's list. Local students earning Dean's List recognition include Luke Kail of Waynesburg.

KENT STATE

Kent State University announced the following local students were named to the Dean's lists for the fall semester.

Canton-- Sam Elseser,

East Canton--Abigail Cook, Thomas Cook, Felisa Markoski, Jessica Marshall, Kyle Runge, Christopher Sahli and Kaylyn Self

East Sparta-- Shane Baker, Alana Kemp, Christopher McCray, Barbara Reed, Michelle Steed, Caroline Thompson.

Magnolia-- Madeline Bland, Kaylee Dudek, Hunter Immel, Leila Malavite, Emily Reinsel, Harold Starkey, Jacob Steinke and Jared Strubel.

Waynesburg-- Miranda Armstrong and Marissa Boughman.

Kent State announced the following area students were named to the President's List for the fall semester.

East Sparta-- Chad Roush and Erin Thompson

Waynesburg-- Trisha Simmons
