East Canton and Ridgewood took part in a high-scoring softball game, with the Lady Generals prevailing 9-8.
Alexis Fogle singled three times, drove in a run and scored twice; Kayla Eichelberger had a base hit, RBI and run scored; Lexi Betz had two hits, including a double, and four RBIs; and Cassy Wolfe had two base hits.
Maddison Harris took the loss, striking out three.
Sandy Valley - 12

Earlier in the week, the Lady Hornets lost to Sandy Valley 12-2.
"We put the ball in play almost every at bat," stated Coach Butler.
Eichelberger went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI; Kendra Gulling had a single, double and an RBI; Wolfe had two hits in two plate appearances; and Salyers doubled.

The Lady Hornets rallied with four runs in the top of the fifth to pull to within one at 7-6.
The Lady Wildcats took advantage of several errors in their half of the fifth, scoring eight runs to stretch its lead back up to nine.
"We played solid defense until the fifth inning," noted Coach Butler. "We hit the ball very well tonight and had great base running."
Eichelberger connected for a solo home run; Gulling had a base hit and two RBIs; Betz went 2-for-2 with a double and a run scored; and Wolfe, Harris and Lauren Wines each had a base hit and an RBI.
Harris pitched the first five innings, giving up 12 runs, 10 earned, on 13 hits and six walks.

The Lady Mustangs scored two runs in the bottom of the first and held on for the victory.
Eichelberger led the way offensively with two hits. Salyers pitched six strong innings, giving up two earned runs on five hits. She struck out two and walked three.
East Canton (9-10, 4-7) will travel to Malvern today (May 5); host Tusky Central on Saturday, May 6; and close out the regular season hosting Strasburg on Monday, May 8.
Division IV Northeast District Tournament
East Canton received the second seed and will host either #7 Rootstown or #10 Leetonia on Tuesday, May 9, 4:30 p.m.
