Eichelberger has six RBIs against Strasburg

It was a high-scoring affair when Strasburg visited East Canton for a league softball title.

The Lady Tigers pounded out 17 hits and pulled away for a 17-9 win.

Kayla Eichelberger had a career-day for the Lady Hornets as she went 3-for-4 with a home run, double, six RBIs and two runs scored.

Alexis Fogle collected three hits and scored three times; Zoe Salyers doubled and scored twice; and Lexi Betz and Mary Reichard both had a base hit and an RBI.

Maddison Harris pitched seven innings, giving up eight earned runs on 17 hits.

Betz paced the way at the plate for the Lady Hornets with a single, double, two runs scored, and two stolen bases

Fogle singled twice, and Reichard scored a run.

Cassy Wolfe pitched the first three innings, giving up seven runs, six earned, on seven hits.

Julia Dimmerling went the next four innings, allowing three earned runs on seven hits.

East Canton (9-12, 4-9) was to close out the regular season against Strasburg on May 8.
