Baylee Offenberger won a league title as the Lady Cardinals finished sixth at the 2017 Inter-Valley Conference Track and Field Championships.
Offenberger bested all in the high jump, clearing 4'8.
Halie Sciury finished second in the long jump with a leap of 16'1.5, and Olivia Costello was third in the 400 (1:05.92).
Placing fourth were the 4x800 (11:21.58) consisting of Kiannah Sarver, Mercedes Sarver, Natalie Weber and Ruby Behm; the 4x100 (55.91) consisting of Alicia Costello, O. Costello, Behm and Megan Hughes; and the 4x400 (4:31.12) consisting of A. Costello, O. Costello, K. Sarver and Halie Sciury.
Fifths went to the 4x200 (1:58.39) consisting of A. Costello, O. Costello, Offenberger and Behm; and M. Sarver in the 800 (2:48.85).
K. Sarver was sixth in the 1600 (6:01.48).
Placing seventh were M. Sarver in the 1600 (6:05.16), Alana Hill in the shot (29'3.5), Hughes in the pole vault (6'6).
Garaway won its fifth straight league title with 157 points. It was followed by East Canton with 113, Ridgewood with 107.5, Tusky Central with 88, Malvern with 63, Sandy Valley with 54.5, Newcomerstown with 44, Hiland with 28 and Strasburg with 6.
The Cardinals will take part in the district tournament at West Holmes High School on Thursday and Saturday, May 18 and 20.
The top four in each event will advance to the regional meet at Athens High School on on May 25 and May 27.
