Dear Editor,I would like to take the opportunity to comment on a recent tragedy and applaud the efforts of our respective community fire departments in response to a Waynesburg area structure fire on Sunday November 30, 2014.
Dear Editor,It has been a while since I have written a thank you to the Sandy Valley community. The Board of Trustees and I would like to offer our sincere thanks to the churches, individuals, schools and scouts who support us all year round.
Dear Editor: I always take the time to visit our Canton or Stark County office buildings. I also like to walk on nice days. I always enjoy a quick stop at our Stark County Commissioners or the auditor's offices.
The East Sparta Civic Association would again like to thank all of the supporters of our May Basket Month raffle. The proceeds will again be used for our annual Homecoming Entertainment Fund which includes our fireworks display.

Dear Editor: Waynesburg- When does it end? Since my last letter to the editor about Waynesburg wanted us Sandy Township Non-Residents to vote for a Fire District I stated what has "Waynesburg Ever Done For Us". Through Documentation, I received from Waynesburg Village.
Dear Editor: I need to correct some statements made by Terry Bailey in a letter published in the Press News on May 7th with respect to the Stop Spot Zoning Committee flyer. Bailey said the flyer information was "misleading" and "inaccurate".
Dear Editor: I presume most residents of the Township received the flier from the Committee to Stop Spot Zoning. I found many things about that flier troubling. I'm all for promoting informed decisions - as long as the information is accurate.
Dear Editor: In response to the proposed consolidation of the Sandy Twp. & Waynesburg Fire Departments and some of the issues highlighted by Attorney Comstock who has been hired to start the process of forming a Fire District.
Dear Editor: On May 6th, Osnaburg Township residents will vote on Issue #13 concerning a zoning change that will allow an oil and gas business with large trucks, construction equipment, and a storage yard for tanks, pipes and materials used for well drilling, fracking and pipelines.
Dear Editor: In regard to the parking on Bundy Avenue in East Canton, we have lived in East Canton for almost 60 years, the longest of anyone on Bundy Avenue. Our four-family apartment unit has been there for 41 years.

To the loving members of the Sandy Valley Community:I would like to thank you all for the generosity, compassion, support, and love you have shown me since I was diagnosed with cancer last May. The community's involvement of 'Cardinals Supporting Sewell Week' was absolutely humbling.
The Carroll County Arts Board would like to express a sincere thanks to all who help support our volunteer organization. On Saturday, April 12, the 2nd annual "Oil Barons Ball" was held at Atwood Lake Resort.

Dear Editor: Stark County is fortunate to be at the crossroads of two critical American industries - energy and farming. Recent energy booms are helping farmers by providing a second source of income.

Dear Editor,The Stark County District Library Director, under the authority of our library 'board', has disposed of thousands upon thousands of our books from our main library. Who knows how many books have been removed from our 'branches???
